Frequently Asked Questions

 

Q:  Are there any restrictions on pet clients?

A:  All pets must have no history of aggression towards people and  must be up to date with vaccines. Dogs that are signed up for daycare or group walks must be spayed/neutered and must have no history of dog aggression.

 

Q:  How does payment work?

A:  At our EcoDen Doggy Daycare facility we accept Visa, Mastercard, Debit, cash or cheques made out to “Biscuits Pet Services”.  For pick up and drop off services feel free to leave out cash or cheque or send us an email money transfer. Drop in clients must have payment ready upon pet pickup. Package and weekly clients need payment ready on the first session.

 

Q:  How do we arrange all of the details for services?

A:  Biscuits will set up a quick ‘meet and greet’ in our daycare. This allows you and your pet to meet us in-person and have a chat about your pet and the details of our services.  

  

Q:  Do your walkers/sitters ever take time off?

A:  Yes, occasionally your walker/sitter will be away or unavailable to take your pet. Biscuits will notify you of any changes to your walker or sitter. If Biscuits is unable to provide service for your pet we are happy to recommend another trusted service provider. View our Friends page to see some trusted pet service providers.

 

Q:  What if I need to cancel my appointment?

A:  For a full refund of payment Biscuits requires that you notify us of any cancellations at least 24 hours beforehand for walking and sitting services. We accept drop-in clients to our doggy daycare facility but, if we have already reached capacity for the day we may not be able to take your dog without notice. We always recommend booking your dog in ahead of time.

 

Q:  What if my dog is wet and muddy after his/her walk?

A:  Biscuits always wipes muddy paws before returning a dog inside of a client residence but we can not guarantee that your dog is dirt-free! If you are worried about messes in the house please advise your walker of a pet carrier/crate or any outside areas for your pet to dry off, like a dog house.

 

Q:  What happens if my dog is hurt while on a walk or hike?

A:  Biscuits carries a pet first aid kit at all times. For minor bumps and scrapes Biscuits will perform first aid and make sure your dog is comfortable before returning him/her to your residence. For more serious injuries Biscuits will transport your dog to your veterinary or a pet hospital if necessary. Owners are always contacted in the event of an emergency before any veterinary care is given.

 

Q:  Can I purchase a gift card for a friend or relative?

A:  Yes, Biscuits offers gift cards for purchase for daycare, walks and boarding/sitting services. Our gift cards are a great gift for busy dog owners or for cat owners who travel and need loving care for their feline friends!

 

Q:  Can I leave my key a the concierge desk for a walker to pick up?

A:  Yes, we will pick up keys from a concierge desk, but please note that if your walker has to wait any more than 10 minutes for a concierge to appear at his/her desk your walk will be rescheduled and your dog will not be picked up that day.
